January is a big month for detoxes, new diets, new gym memberships, resolutions and a renewed focus on wellness. How many of us will be successful on these new endeavors? Our team at Freedom Wealth Alliance has been kicking off the month of January with a wellness challenge for 10 years running now. We have a higher than 40% success rate and that keeps us coming back year after year. We make it fun, competitive, give prizes, and try different things each year. For some of us it's a holiday detox to get us off to a good start for the new year, for others it brings us back to a healthy weight. We have lost over 100 pounds, collectively, many times over!
This year we are excited to tailor our wellness challenge after the Whole Foods Plant-Based Lifestyle. Simply put we are going to be eating more plants and less food that was made in a plant. There are so many new diets that hit the media every year, one of the most studied is the plant-based diet. It's hard to argue with your mother when she says, "eat your vegetables".
