The team had a great turnout on Sunday, September 16th, for the MS walk in Waukesha. Our team was 4th overall in fundraising!! Together with all of the teams & supporters $30,628.88 was raised for the National MS society. We are so happy to have been a part of that success.
It was a gorgeous day to participate in the walk at Frame Park. We had a fun, festive environment complete with characters like the Admiral (pictured with Eric & Amy Kulwicki's children) and cheerleaders from various schools. The VIP of the day was Cris Adams from Freedom Wealth Alliance. You may know that Cris is affected by MS, but what you most likely know is that she is the sweetheart and the light of our office. We affectionately refer to her as The Director of Smiles! She is the most positive, caring, and fun person to be with in or out of the office. We are so fortunate to have her be a part of our lives. Because of Cris and her impact on all of us, the MS Society holds a special place in our Freedom 2 Give hearts.
The National MS Society's vision is to end Multiple Sclerosis forever. Their mission is that People affected by MS can live their best lives as we stop MS in its tracks, restore what has been lost and end MS forever. They have 3 strategic goals including effective treatment choices and solutions to the challenges of living with MS, connecting individuals, information and resources to move lives forward, and generate resources to accelerate progress and maximize impact.
